BUBONIC PLAGE
This plague has been one of the most devastating pandemics in the history of humanity. It is caused by the bacteria called yersinia petis. This pandemic affects Europe. This bacterium was possessed by rats. Doctors dressed in a very peculiar way so as not to be infected. XVII and XVIII, some doctors wore masks that looked like beaks of birds full of aromatic articles. The masks were designed to protect them from rotten air, which was seen as the cause of infection. The nose was half a foot long, shaped like a beak, filled with perfume with only two holes, one on each side, close to the nostrils, but enough to breathe, loading with the air that one inhaled, the impression of the drugs contained in the end of the beak.
