BUBONIC PLAGE
This plague has been one of the most devastating pandemics in the history of humanity. It is caused by the bacteria called yersinia petis. This pandemic affects Europe. This bacterium was possessed by rats. Doctors dressed in a very peculiar way so as not to be infected. XVII and XVIII, some doctors wore masks that looked like beaks of birds full of aromatic articles. The masks were designed to protect them from rotten air, which was seen as the cause of infection.
