This book is about how medicine has been evolving in the world giving examples from other countries. Greek medicine is the medicine developed in Ancient Greece. Probably based on Egyptian medicine, it dates back to Homeric times, although it was not truly developed until the 5th century BC. C. with Hippocrates. The Iliad quotes as doctors the Achaean warriors Macaón and Podalirio, [1] two sons of Asclepius, god of medicine, as well as the god Peán, doctor of the gods.
